1- Legacy customers who purchased systems prior to October 3, 2011 are grandfathered and do not need to purchase FortiCare. 2- Customers who purchased systems after October 3, 2011 need to purchase FortiCare to continue to receive support. Customers with 4 port voip can purchase the 8 port voip FortiCare. 3- FortiCare comes in 1yr increments but you can purchase up to 5 years at once (5 separate licenses). 4- The Fortinet support system is managed by registration and serial number of the systems. In order to receive technical support, customers and/or resellers must have that system registered. You can register here: https://support.fortinet.com/login/UserRegistration.aspx. To register you need a valid system serial number and the system ID. The serial number is found on the bottom of the box and the system ID is found within the management software (Click on Licensed Addons, then click Activate on any of the licenses listed). 5- All calls must be logged against a registered system. 6- To reach support you may call 1-866-393-9960, email support@talkswitch.com or create a support ticket within the assistance center, please visit main support page here, https://support.fortinet.com/EntryPage.aspx. You can only create a ticket if the system has been previously registered. |

| We are grandfathered in to the Foritcare system support. My system is not working. I downloaded the most recent software off the website but now got the error message that "Another computer has the same IP address". Please contact me via cell# at 1-530-771-7692. Thank you. |
