| I have a 6X that has a sip proxy to a MetaSwitch. I am constantly losing the registration. The 6X has a public IP and multiple times during the day, it just loses registration. In the "system events" log, it states " giving up on XXXXXXXXX". As soon as i VPN in to take some WAN traces, registration instantly returns. There are multiple other SIP Bindings on the MeataSwitch that have no problem. Thanks |

| What it looks like to me is that the link it uses to send traffic to MeataSwitch isn't up all the time. When it tries to re-register, it doesn't have a data path to send the packets. By you VPNing in it creates that path and registers. Registration usually occurs every 3600 seconds. The event log message of giving up on xxxxxxxxx tells me there is no WAN link for the Allworx to use. Could this be the case? Can you get back to me with a little more information? |
