Cisco 7940, Aastra 480iCT as REMOTE phones with 6x

I have been able to set up a Cisco 7940 and an aastra 480i CT as remote IP phones with the Allworx 6x. No remote firewall setting were needed. Both phones are capable of doing NAT traversal by setting the NAT IP address in the phone to the WAN IP address of the remote site (and the NAT port to 5060). The only trick was keeping the 6x aware of the remotes for ringing purposes. I believe the Linksys router/firewall at the remote site times out the UDP port forwarding rule after 3 minutes. So I set the registration period to 2 minutes (120) and the phones work perfectly.
