JAN-PRO Selects TalkSwitch as Preferred Provider

JAN-PRO Franchising International® Selects TalkSwitch® as Preferred Telephone System Provider

TalkSwitch brings professional call handling to industry-leading corporate cleaning operation with 5,000 locations

OTTAWA, ON - August 10, 2006 - TalkSwitch®, a company specializing in the design and manufacture of innovative voice systems for small and multi-location businesses, today announced that JAN-PRO Franchising International Inc., a commercial cleaning operation that was recently ranked the third fastest growing franchise in North America, has designated TalkSwitch as its preferred vendor of telephone systems for its franchises.

TalkSwitch systems will be marketed to JAN-PRO's 5,000 individual franchise locations across North America, beginning with its 85 Master Dealers. Each Master Dealer is responsible for selling and overseeing individual franchises within a specific geographic area. Deployment of TalkSwitch systems is already successfully underway.

DecisionOne®, recently announced as a Certified TalkSwitch Installer, will handle installation and support services for franchises requiring assistance in deploying TalkSwitch systems.

"JAN-PRO has been consistently recognized as one of today's top franchise operations," said Jan Scheeren, President and CEO, TalkSwitch. "They are a great example of the type of multi-location organization that can really benefit from using TalkSwitch products. Our systems will give franchise operators the ability to communicate efficiently and affordably, helping to improve the bottom line while also increasing the level of customer service."

With TalkSwitch, franchise operators like JAN-PRO are able to install a telephone system that can evolve and grow with their company, as well as a system that allows them to migrate to Voice over IP (VoIP) should they choose. Moving to VoIP gives franchisees the opportunity to eliminate long distance charges - using three-digit dialing between locations - along with other cost saving benefits.

"TalkSwitch understands what it means to be a small business," said Dennis Thompson, Vice President, JAN-PRO. "They understand that our franchise operators need a reliable phone system that will help them improve efficiency, customer service and ensure they never miss a call. TalkSwitch systems do just that. They have a well-earned reputation in the industry and we think they'll prove to be tremendously valuable to our franchisees."

Each TalkSwitch telephone system comes loaded with a host of features well suited to a franchise setting. Those features include built-in auto attendants that answer incoming calls with consistent messaging and efficiently route callers to the appropriate extension, built-in voicemail, intelligent remote extensions that ensure franchise operators never miss a call - even when they're on the road - and music/messaging on hold.

TalkSwitch systems are available with traditional telephone network connections or with combined traditional and VoIP network connections. VoIP capabilities can be added later to the traditional systems. TalkSwitch systems start as small as two incoming telephone lines with four local extensions, and can be increased to a maximum system size of 16 incoming lines with 32 local extensions per office.
